VisualREX™ fully integrates the RealTimeREX business rules engine and your existing video surveillance and the point-of-sale systems. VisualREX employs a customer defined set of business rules to identify violations of acceptable levels of operating performance.

When a violation is detected, the VisualREX application captures the event and the transaction data then connects to the digital video recorder and extracts a clip of the video for the appropriate camera(s) for the time span of the event.  The combination of the alert message, transaction data and video are packaged and sent to a website, while an email alert is sent to the designated recipients (typically a resource in loss prevention) announcing the availability of the video clip with a hyperlink.  

In addition to monitoring transaction-related events, the VisualREX application can monitor the status of your video surveillance system and hardware, alerting the appropriate person when a camera is unplugged, the system is not recording, or some other system status is outside of your designated tolerance range.  VisualREX ensures that the video is there when you need it, vastly improving the return on this valuable asset.

By continuously monitoring for exceptions and synchronizing targeted events with all relevant video footage, VisualREX eliminates the need to manually search through video files to locate a specific event type or relevant transaction.  This technology significantly reduces the need to review raw video clips and eliminates the need to search for video for transaction-triggered events.
